No we don’t. You would construct your home as if you had bought land anywhere - either by contracting a builder/architect or choosing a construction company to design and build your home. You will be subject to building and planning regulations from the Berrigan Shire council.

The council rates will be based on your property and land value, as with any other residential or commercial site in the Berrigan Shire.

A rubbish collection point will be available. At this stage it has not been determined if this will be at lot sites or a central point.

Tocumwal has primary schools, a 16-bed hospital with emergency services and a medical centre. Finley is a small town 15 minutes drive from Tocumwal and has a secondary college. Cobran is 15 minutes away in Victoria, and has several supermarkets, medical centres and stores such as Target.

No, this is a different project. The council sold parcels of land of around 4000msq in 2014. The Facebook page associated with that council development is called Tocumwal Residential Airport. This project isn’t affiliated with the 2014 council project or the Facebook page. In response for the desire of the aviation community to have smaller lots of land available, this current project will have lots that are generally around the 2000m2 size.
